2024 EAC Clearinghouse Awards Submissions
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) is an independent, bipartisan commission whose mission is to help election officials improve the administration of elections and help Americans participate in the voting process. Established by the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA), the EAC is charged with developing guidance to meet HAVA requirements, adopting voluntary voting system guidelines, and serving as a national clearinghouse of information on election administration. The EAC also accredits testing laboratories and certifies voting systems, as well as audits the use of HAVA funds.
Each year, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) invites submissions for its national Clearinghouse Awards, or Clearies for short. Under the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA), the EAC is charged with serving as a clearinghouse for election administration information. By celebrating innovative efforts from state and local election offices, the Clearies helps the EAC to fulfill this important mission. Learn more at www.eac.gov.

2024 Prince William County Community Survey
The PWC Community Survey is a biennial survey which guides strategic decisions made by the Board of County Supervisors.
In 2024, survey results revealed that 94% of county residents were satisfied with their voting experience. From 2021 to 2024, the voting experience was the county’s most improved activity according to survey data. Additionally, the Office of Elections was the second highest department/service that county residents interacted with just behind libraries and just ahead of parks and recreation.
