REDISTRICTING PROCESS

Redistricting and precinct/polling place changes happen every 10 years following completion of the Census. On December 21, 2021, the Board of County Supervisors approved a redistricting ordinance that set the new boundaries for Prince William County’s magisterial districts. On March 1, 2022, the Board of County Supervisors approved a precincting plan that establishes the precinct boundaries and voting locations for 103 Election Day polling places for Prince William County voters. On April 14, 2022, the Office of the Attorney General certified that all precincts and polling places meet all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
